Well, I've been told that it's unbecoming of me to have a journal entry 3 years old still up. So here's something new. Lot's have happened since last I wrote here. Some good, some bad, a lot happy, a bit sad. But that's life. We've bought a house, we're stocking it with quality furniture and slowly getting things just the way we want it. Not everything is perfect, but once again. That's life. The family is good, we have a new niece who is beautiful and healthy. Had a crazy fun time on my trip this past weekend. Not everything worked out like we had planned, tho. We didn't get to go to the caves because of some last minute work that got dropped in my friend's lap, but I did manage to get a few landscape pics of the deep washes and terrain that was behind the house. Went to a locke on the river (tho it was getting late so I didn't take the camera) and played around in the silica beach that borders the locke (I think I dumped enough sand out of my shoes and socks to fill LongHaul's dumptruck bed!) Well, I thought that I would be having to spend the weekend home tending to a sick wife and cub, but they are much better and assure me that they can tough out a couple days without me. So, I am heading off to Arkansas to go spelunking with an old friend of mine! :w00t: I am so stoked about this I could turn flips! I think I'll buy a little disposable camera to take with me for the pics (I'm not risking my digital camera in there.
